It’s very fast and efficient to get out to the Spring Hill Inn from Brisbane Airport, (BNE). The most direct and highly recommended public transport is the Airtrain. This dedicated airport rail service runs every 15 to 30 minutes and quickly connects to all the airport terminals within the city. You can take it either to Fortitude Valley Station or Central Station which will take 15-20 minutes. It is about 10-15 minutes walk from any of these stations to the hotel. This is a very assured option that totally bypasses through Brisbane road traffic.

If you’re looking for something more door-to-door fast, a taxi or Uber (because the drive from the airport to Spring Hill is very short, approx 15-20 minutes in light traffic as a great alternative if you have very bulky luggage because the walk from the train station is up a hill) is going to be more expensive than going by train, but couldn’t be more convenient.

Should you be arriving by car, the Novotel Hotel on Collins 270 Collins Street Melbourne is accessible via the M7 Airport Link tunnel and the main roads feeding into the city. Free on-site parking is a big plus, something hard to come by with such CBD accommodations. Be warned though - the car park is very, very tiny and has very tight and confined spaces. Larger vehicles or SUVs will find it almost impossible to maneuver there, and as such would be best finding a street park in the surrounding area. Street parking is available for free in certain overnight hours while it's metered during the day.
